MANUEL S. RUIZ – PRESIDENT & CEO
Manuel Sanchez Ruiz is an international entrepreneur who posesses an MBA and is pursuing his Masters of Education. In 2003 Manuel founded CRM Studios Inc. (since renamed Vishnu Productions Mexico) in his native Mexico, quickly becoming a respected name in video production and audio engineering/education. In 2009, Manuel brought his vision to a global scale, establishing Vishnu Canada. Recently, Manuel was awarded CEO Of The Year from the prestigious Cambridge Who’s Who Network. Currently, he is working to establish a third Vishnu branch in Argentina, and five additional branches around the globe.
BRIAN SHAW – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Brian Shaw is a veteran of the bustling Vancouver film industry, working extensively in the lighting and camera departments. A graduate of Columbia Academy, Brian’s passions range from cinematography and photography to outdoor adventure sports. Brian’s varied career has taken him from the most cutting-edge studio sets to independent, guerilla documentary shoots and back again. As the Managing Director of Vishnu Productions, Brian strives to bring the same level of professionalism and creativity to every project he works on.
GRAEME M. CAMPBELL – CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Graeme M. Campbell has written and directed numerous independent short films over the past decade. He also brings skills from a diverse career spanning graphic design, stock promotion and business management. A published author, Graeme has a dedication to strong, original storytelling and an innovative visual style. He is currently developing several projects for both film and television. At work, Graeme applies his artistic sensibilities and critical insight to each one of Vishnu’s productions.
ALLAN BURNS – SOUND DIRECTOR
Allan Burns has spent the greater part of 15 years refining his audio recording craft. Combining years of experience as an on-set mixer at Alliance-Atlantis and mining the depths of ProTools to achieve the highest quality post-production sound, Allan is regarded by his peers as both an innovator and a professional. Recently, Allan relocated from Toronto to Vancouver, bringing with him the experience garnered working on over 50 shows with Canada’s major networks – CTV, CBC and CanWest Global— including such hits as So You Think You Can Dance and Battle of the Blades.

The primary camera we use is the PDW-F335L, part of Sony’s acclaimed XDCAM series. This versatile workhorse boasts the highest record times in its class, four channels of professional field-audio capturing and a full studio package, ensuring only the highest quality picture and sound. In addition to the XDCAM, Vishnu Productions also utilizes a collection of GoPro sports cameras. We love these little guys. With each weighing only 3.3oz and smaller than the average cell phone, they are tailor made for any environment; be it the handlebars of your mountain bike, the nose of your wakeboard, or high above the tree line affixed to an RC helicopter.
There is more to a movie than than just a camera. At Vishnu Productions, we understand this. Which is why we also provide an array of professional grade Motion Control Systems. With the equipment at our disposal, your video can serenely glide across the terrain on our Losmandy dolly or soar high above it with a breathtaking crane shot. And with our official Steadicam, there is nowhere you can lead that our camera operators can’t follow.
Finally, when it’s time to pack away the gear, we pass your footage to our highly skilled and inventive editing staff. Working out of our brand new, state of the art editing suite, they will take your raw footage and hone it into a final product you’ll have to see to believe.
The Sony PDW-F335 XDCAM is a highly versatile high definition, broadcast quality camera allowing for long recording time in a reliable and rugged documentary style shooting. At full 1080p resolution this is a perfect camera for field production. Vishnu productions has twof-335′s, to provide adequate coverage possibilities for most productions.
The Steadycam Flyer allows freedom of camera movement of the PDW-F335 cameras. Free from the tripod the camera is allowed to roam free in stable motion to follow your action wherever it may go.
We have a full studio setup to offer with a two tray matte box with a full set of 4×5.6 Tiffin ND glass as well as ND Graduated filters, polarizer and access to the industry’s largest collection of style filters.

Arri is a leading provider for cameras and lighting for the top film productions in the World. Our kit includes a 1000W open face with Chimera, 1 650w Fresnel, 1 300w fresnel, 2 150w fresnel.

Our professional camera equipment allows for top of the line photos with the tools required for the job. a variety of flashes and a full assortment of lenses allows for supreme photographic results.
Our Jimmy Jib Triangle system allows stunning cinematic camera moves in a 6 foot and a 12 foot configuration. A fully controlled remote head system with remote focus iris and zoom control allows our operators full control of the camera. The jib arm is made of rigid triangular aluminum tubing for maximum stability and control.
The Losmandy Spider Camera Dolly is the most portable professional camera dolly on the market. Combined with a piece of FlexTrak, the simple 3-Leg Spider converts our camera tripod into an extremely portable, easy to set up tracking camera dolly for moves up to 17 feet.
